Most of Main Story clothes are cut to be generous and oversized in fit. Wide cut tees, sweatshirts, dresses and shirts. Bottoms are cut to be generally loose in the leg, with a long rise and easy fit waist. Some styles, such as our leggings and rib tops, are meant to be close fitting and the nature of the fabric is for it to adjust to the body.
With the wide fit there is longevity in the garment. As the item becomes cropped in length the item can still be worn for longer due to the wide fit.
We therefore advise to buy according to the height of the child.
